How do i record music with windows movie maker?

Hi, I used to be able to record music off youtube with windows movie maker using the narrate time line option, I have windows 7 and my sound card is a creative sound blaster audigy 2, it has worked on windows 7 but when I wiped my hard drive it stopped working, an help would be greatly appreciated.
