Will I like Oblivion if I liked Fallout 3?

I played Oblivion a few years ago (rented), but I found it very boring. When fallout 3 came out, I bought it and I fell in love with the exploration. Now, I'm starting to think I never gave Oblivion a chance to win me over. Will I like Oblivion if I like Fallout 3, and if so, should I buy it?
