What is a cure for...?

so my cousin has.......lice!! her mom was trying to get rid of them by getting lice shampoo and a fine tooth comb but then they reappear the next day. what do you recommend to do? and she berely got then like 1 week ago and did not get them by someone. she did not share things that come contact with the hair with someone else.
