Technical School/ Spouse Question?

From what my husband's recruiter told us, I thought that as soon as he got out of Basic training, the both of us were moving wherever he went for technical school. He already has a job as an Imagery Interpreter because he scored high on his tests. 8 weeks is bad enough apart, but we didn't plan on anything longer. I'm going nuts trying to figure this out, and I feel like we've been betrayed! Can I actually go with him? Will he get deployed a lot?
