If a mother fails to appear to a merit trial for custody, does this reflect badly on her?

If it was a false allegation that speaks to her character and I'm amazed the child wasn't placed back with the father on the spot. If you can doent all this stuff and put it in front of a sane judge(you know, the fact she's a drug taking welfare slut that abuses her position of power to deny access and is going to have another 6 kids to 4 blokes who are all a days out of jail, I mean it sounds like this chick's future self is on every second segment of the show Cops)
