What the he!@ is wrong with me?

Please help I feel like I'm losing my mind I am 37 years old and have been having hot flashes, extreme anxiety, awful temper every little thing will set me into a rampage and I don't know what is wrong with me could I be going through perimenopause I don't have insurance so I cant go to the dr so please don't tell me to go that will set me off to. Could this be perimenopause? Do the home menopause tests work pretty accurately and how do they work? Thanks
