Is it okay to believe that you are better than other people?

It is dangerous for any one group to think they are superior to another. But, when in your question you say, "Even atheists have faith in something," aren't the words, "even atheists" denigrating to us? Would you feel that I thought you were inferior if I started a sentence with "Even Christians...?"
